David’s Fitness is not just about looking great, it’s also about living a healthy life

I am an experienced fitness coach, known for my holistic approach that focuses on both appearance and health. But I haven’t reached where I am without hard work and dedication.

My personal story – and approach to fitness, training and coaching

My journey involves years of personal development and persistent work on my body, including proper nutrition, training, and various sports since I was young. At 15, I was a skinny boy, and it wasn’t expected that I would transform into a muscular person, but as you can see, I did.

Already as a child, I had a lot of energy, and my parents quickly discovered that sports were the best way to handle all that energy in a positive way. Moving my body was the best. At the time, being a young millennial, I still had the chance to spend most of my childhood playing outside all day, only coming home for lunch at best. I greatly appreciate the absence of smartphones and streaming services. Something we all need to think about today if we have children.

At 7, my parents signed me up at a local Judo dojo to channel my energy during the colder months. I practised passionately for the next 5 years, training about 5 times a week. This helped us form strong bonds and address our weaknesses. I competed for my club locally and abroad, often travelling to neighbouring countries for Balkan championships and European tournaments. Our community was great, and our teacher balanced discipline in the dojo with fun outside of it.

At 13, freerunning and parkour caught my interest. My friends and I started emulating flips and climbing buildings. Around this time, I discovered Capoeira and saw how it incorporated our moves into a martial art. I instantly fell in love and joined the local Capoeira club, spending the next 2 years there. The community was warm and welcoming. My Judo background made me humble and eager to learn.

At 15, I needed a more challenging sport and decided to try Thai boxing. It was exactly what I was looking for. Watching my new teacher prepare for tournaments and fights in Thai boxing, knowing he could easily overpower anyone, he carried himself with incredible discipline and gentleness. He inspired me to always be myself, keep a clear head, and stay on guard during difficult situations.

Inspired by Bodybuilding

While developing skills in judo, parkour, Capoeira, and Thai boxing, I became interested in bodybuilding and weightlifting. I followed Mitsuru Okabe’s MOCVideos, spending summers watching hundreds of hours of footage and taking notes on exercises, diets, training schedules, intensity, sleep, and supplements. I could name every Mr Olympia winner, the year they won, and their competitors. Fascinated by the potential to transform my body, my journey to becoming a personal trainer and coach began there.

We All Have a Unique Story to Start From

Everyone’s story is unique, just like mine. We are not the same, which is why it’s important to start with your story, who you are, and what you want. My personal journey through transformation has taught me about various challenges and how to handle them, including overtraining, obsession, frustration, and even body dysmorphia at one point, many years back.

By overcoming my own challenges through hands-on experience and achieving valuable knowledge, I now help others overcome their physical and mental barriers. My regular clients already know that I understand the challenges they face and therefore can tailor all training to their individual needs and life conditions. I can do the same for you.

With empathy, presence, and perseverance, I can help you achieve your goals, whether it’s building strength, losing weight, managing stress, or finding a sustainable path to well-being. I focus on both your physical goals and your mental and emotional well-being, which are essential for long-term results and a well-functioning long-term workout routine.

My Approach to Training and Coaching

As a personal trainer, my first step is to understand my clients and tailor training to their unique challenges. Initially, it’s about getting to know you and building a solid training foundation. Detailed training plans come once you can train correctly and perform exercises optimally, avoiding injuries. Beginners should expect at least 3 months of consistent, weekly training to establish this foundation. This approach helps you achieve the body, appearance, and health that give you the energy to live the life you desire.

My Training Philosophy

My training philosophy is based on effective communication and solving your unique fitness challenges. Whether you want to build strength, train during and after pregnancy, lose weight, manage stress, or find a sustainable path to well-being, I guarantee progress. My mission is to tailor all training to your life conditions and guide you to your milestones and goals.

My fitness programme is for those who are ambitious and seek a holistic approach to training. I focus on both appearance and health, with no shortcuts or detours—only realistic goals and correct training. This approach gives you visible results and increased joy in using your body.
